What is a tribute?

A tribute is a heartfelt way to honour your pet's memory. It allows you to share their story, celebrate their life and keep their spirit alive. You can include photos, memories, and messages for loved ones to see.

Is it free?

Putting a pet tribute on Rest Easy Friend is not free because there are ongoing online costs associated with maintaining and improving the service. Running a secure website—one that stores videos, photos and stories, operates reliably around the clock and stays smooth and accessible—requires strong technical infrastructure, server space, ongoing maintenance and support. All of these come with real-world costs.

Who can view tributes?

Tributes can be viewed by the general public. You can share the link with friends and family or keep it within a select group. This ensures that your pet's memory is shared with those who matter most.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, absolutely. There are no long-term commitments. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

What happens to my tribute if I cancel my subscription?

Your tribute will remain published but you will no longer be able to edit your pet's page (eg change the text or change or add any additional photos or videos). If you would like your pet's page removed from the website, after cancelling your subscription, please email info@resteasyfriend.com and include your registered email address and pet's name. Your pet's page will then be removed within 48 hours and a confirmation email will be sent.

What’s the difference between Standard, Premium, and Platinum plans?

Standard (€25/year) includes one tribute with a photo and a short bio. It’s perfect for a simple, heartfelt remembrance.
Premium (€60/year) allows you to add multiple photos and videos, an extended bio, and up to 8 YouTube videos. It's ideal if you want to tell a fuller story with rich media.
Platinum (€200/year) gives you the ability to create up to four Premium tributes — perfect for those who’ve loved more than one special companion. Each tribute gets its own gallery and extended features.

Can I submit a tribute for a pet that passed away many years ago?

Absolutely. Whether your beloved companion passed recently or decades ago, their memory matters. Rest Easy Friend is a space where time doesn’t limit love. Share their story when you’re ready — we’ll honour it just the same.

How do I create a tribute?

Creating a tribute is simple and user-friendly. Just sign up, choose a template and fill in your pet's details. You can personalise it with photos and stories that reflect their unique personality.

Can I edit later?

Absolutely! You can edit your tribute at any time to add new memories or update details. Just log in to your account and make the necessary changes. Your tribute can evolve as you remember more about your beloved pet.

Do I need to be a writer to submit a tribute?

Not at all. Your words — even if they’re simple — are powerful. You can write as much or as little as you’d like. If you need help, we even offer an online writing tool with your subscription to guide you. What matters most is the heart behind it.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Absolutely. If you start with Standard or Premium, you can upgrade at any time.

Can I create tributes for more than one pet?

Yes — the Platinum plan is designed for this. It includes space for up to four pets, each with their own photos, videos, and stories. You can celebrate them individually while keeping their memories side by side.

What does the AI-powered bio writer do?

It helps you write a meaningful tribute with warmth and personality, even if you're not sure where to start. Just share a few details, and we’ll help craft something beautiful.

Why is my pet’s face cut off in the tribute image?

Our image frame automatically centres your photo inside a circular shape. If you upload a portrait image where your pet is near the top or bottom, the circle might crop them out unintentionally. For the best results, we recommend using a landscape image with your pet centred in the frame. Need help adjusting your image? You can use our free online image editor (no sign-up required) linked right on the upload page to crop and centre your photo before submitting.
